Insurance: Be proactive. Call your insurance agent or carrier to find out if COVID-19 is covered by your business interruption insurance, typically under your comprehensive or property/casualty policy.
Bartender Emergency Assistance Program: USBG National Charity Foundation administers this program for bartenders (and their spouses/children) experiencing emergency hardship as a result of unexpected or catastrophic events, such as COVID-19. Learn more here.
Unemployment Insurance: The Indiana Department of Workforce Development is assessing flexibility under federal and state law to expand eligibility for claimants and ease burdens on employers affected by COVID-19. To file an unemployment claim, visit the Indiana Depart of Workforce Development here.
If you are an adult (18+) who has worked on a part-time or full-time basis in the hospitality industry in Indiana for at least 90 days in the last year, you are eligible for consideration for a one-time $500 relief grant from the Indiana Restaurant & Lodging Association.
